The Montefiore-Albert Einstein College of Medicine is seeking a Transplant Pulmonologist to join two other transplant pulmonologists at a robust multi-organ transplant center located in New York City. The candidate will support a busy pulmonary failure and lung transplant program in collaboration with faculty from Cardiothoracic Surgery and Critical Care Medicine. Montefiore provides an academic environment dedicated to teaching residents and fellows with a focus on providing exceptional care to patients with critical lung illnesses and developing cutting edge treatments. Research opportunities exist for those interested in building an academic career leading to NIH funded research.
Minimum Qualifications

Board Certified in Internal Medicine

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Disease/Critical Care Medicine

Completed or currently completing a UNOS-approved Lung Transplant Fellowship or current experience as a Transplant Pulmonologist in a transplant center

Based at the main hospital campus in the Bronx and with more than 50 years of leadership in transplantation, the multidisciplinary teams at the Montefiore Einstein Center for Transplantation are committed to the care of adult and pediatric transplant patients with conditions affecting the lungs, heart, liver, kidneys and pancreas.
Our team of providers bring extensive lung transplant experience to Montefiore's Advanced Lung Disease Program and are integral to the continued growth of the transplant program. We are "high performing" in Lung Surgery and Pulmonology by U.S. News with over 150 transplants performed since the lung transplant program’s inception in 2017.
