Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is seeking candidates for a full-time, tenure-eligible Transplant Surgeon in the Department of Surgery, Division of Transplantation.

​

Opportunity Details:

  • Transplant surgeons take call on a weekly basis for organ donors, liver and kidney transplantation.

  • Participation in resident and medical student education

  • Level of appointment will be based upon qualifications and experience.

  • Interaction with dynamic clinicians across departments and participation in innovative educational approaches

  • Excellent Junior Faculty Development Program

 

Requirements:

  • Medical degree - MD, DO, or foreign equivalent

  • Candidates must be ASTS fellowship-trained, Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Surgery and meet UNOS criteria for a liver/kidney transplant surgeon

  • A strong commitment to patient care, medical student and resident education and research/scholarly activity is necessary
